1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses the Algenix website, and to clients and users of any systems, platforms, hosting or support services provided or managed by Algenix.
2. Prohibited use
You may not use our website or services to:
- Break any law, including POPIA, the Cybercrimes Act 19 of 2020 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
- Gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data.
- Distribute malware, viruses or other harmful code.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Host or share unlawful, abusive, defamatory or offensive content.
- Interfere with, overload or disrupt any network, server or service.
- Scan, probe or test the vulnerability of any system without written authorisation.
3. Accounts and credentials
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential, using strong passwords and multi-factor authentication where available, and notifying us promptly of any suspected compromise.
4. Monitoring and enforcement
To keep systems secure, we may monitor use of systems we manage, in line with the law and our agreements. We may suspend access or remove content that breaches this policy, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
